C is for Cthulhu: The Lovecraft Alphabet Board Book Now on Kickstarter!

ComixTribe has partnered up with Eisner Nominated writer Jason Ciaramella (SCAM #0: Crosswords, The Cape, Magic the Gathering) and visionary illustrator Greg Murphy to produce C is for Cthulhu: The LovecraftAlphabet Book, which is available for pre-order now on Kickstarter
C is for Cthulhu is a gorgeously illustrated, premium alphabet board book, featuring monsters and characters inspired by the mythos of H.P. Lovecraft.

"While browsing board books for my young son a few years back, I was disappointed to find every book on the shelves was essentially the same: A is for Apple, B is for Ball... Where's the fun in that, right?" said Ciaramella.

"My boys were exposed to the fantastic and weird at a very young age. They love monsters and mythology -- why shouldn't alphabet books for their age be filled with these things? Well, they should be! And that's why we made C is for Cthulhu."

"When Jason brought the idea for C is for Cthulhu to me at last year's Boston Comic Con, I loved it. But the challenge was to find the right artist to bring his vision to life," said ComixTribe publisher Tyler James. "As it turned out, fellow Massachusetts-based artist Greg Murphy was immediately interested in the project. His art on the book is a perfect blend of creepy and cuddly. Now here we are, one year later, ready to bring it to market."

The Kickstarter campaign will run now until midnight Friday August 29th. Jason and Greg have set an $8,000 campaign goal, which will cover printing and fulfillment of a small off-set print run of a premium hardcover board book.

Backers can expect a number of Kickstarter bonuses and additional unique pledge levels to be unlocked throughout the campaign.

A hardcover copy of C is for Cthulhu can be pre-ordered now starting at just $15. There are also higher pledge levels offering Kickstarter exclusive merchandise, and original sketches.
