Stan Lee tweeted (did he really, or was it a rep?) that he will make a cameo in the Spider-man reboot:
"My pal Avi Arad, producer of the new Spider-Man movie, called to tell me how excited he is about the film. Then came the surprise — Avi told me my cameo is all set for Spidey 4, and when he described it, I realized it’s the best, most unusual one yet! I wish I could tell you what my cameo is, but that would kill the surprise. But I'll tell you this much—I’m finally in an action scene! Since it’s common knowledge that people go to the movies just to see my cameos, I don’t know why EVERY movie doesn’t have one for me. After we save the world, our next mission will be to convince Hollywood to have an Oscar for Best Cameo. Till then—Excelsior!"
Now why he's calling it Spidey 4 I have no idea. As to the cameos - I can take it or leave it. It was neat originally, but it's getting old now. I admit that they have come up with some great ideas to get him in the movie (Willie Lumpkin in the first Fantastic Four is my favorite), but let's move on. And my question is does he want a cameo in EVERY Marvel movie or just the particular ones? So far, he's been in every movie that are based on character(s) he created. He's disappointed that he won't be in the Captain America movie, but it's not a character he created!  He wasn't in the Blade movies, nor the Punishers, nor Wolverine. He didn't ceate them. Oh well, let him have his fun I guess.
