Wonder Woman TV series not dead yet (getting better)? Angel as the Man of Steel? Some of the Flashpoint's teasers clarified

David E Kelly tells The Hollywood Reporter that he is "optimistic but I don't think I'm being unrealistic" regarding the Amazon princess returning to TV next year.

From the article...
He(Kelley) said that the network(NBC), premiering his new legal drama Harry's Law on Monday, which he was promoting at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, would be a "good home for it" under incoming programming chief Robert Greenblatt.

"I like to think of it as a smart script and I know he responds to smart material," Kelley said Thursday of his vision in which Wonder Woman would be explored as a "real complex woman and not just a superhero."
Kelley also mentioned that it's a "possibility" Wonder Woman could land at cable.

Somehow I missed this (or just forgot), but apparently David Boreanez (Buffy, Angel, Bones) auditioned for the Man of Steel back in 2005. Now he wants another chance. Moviehole is reporting that he wants to audition for Zack Snyder. He has the right body and experience with action sequences, but I'm not sure. What do you think?
DC released another teaser for the upcoming Flash event-Flashpoint. It confirms the obvious one, but shows I was right on one and wrong on the other. "The marriage to stop a war" is Wonder Woman to Aquaman (sorry Mera) so I was right about that. "Where is his ring?" Wasn't thinking about Flash's ring where his costume stays until needed. That still leaves two teasers unanswered. The first being "The spaceship never crashed" which could be Abin Sur (Green Lantern) or Superman's rocket. The second being "They experimented in a lab for years" could mean Martian Manhunter or Superman. Looking back at the original teaser image, there is a vault with a giant S-shield so maybe that's the lab?
