Universal Halloween Horror Nights to Return with Mazes from The Thing, Hostel

Geek Tyrant is reporting that this year's Halloween Horror Nights will included two mazes: one from the upcoming prequel to The Thing, and the other based off of Hostel.

The theme park has worked closely with the movie producers of The Thing to re-create the look and atmosphere of the movie, right down to using the audio and music score.

The second maze is called "Hostel:  Hunting Season," recreating scenes and locations from the two movies. Visitors will be chased around by members of Elite Hunting, a "secret society that tortures and kills American youth for sport in exchange for large sums of money." Eli Roth, creator and director of the Hostel films, is involved in creating the maze based on his movies.

The event starts September 23 and runs on select nights until Halloween.
