As was discussed in a previous report, in November the current FF book would split into two: one would be Fantastic Four (featuring the team) with it's original numbering and FF (Future Foundation) which would continue with the numbering from the new book. This was confirmed today by Marvel comics. Still no indication whether or not Johnny Storm (the Human Torch) will return from the "dead." Series writer Jonathan Hickman says he's dead and that's the end of that. Well, we know better, don't we?
The Foundation is made up of Franklin and Valeria Richards (Reed & Sue's kids), Alex Power (of the Power Pack), former FF villain Dragon Man, mutants Artie Maddicks and Leech, Bentley 23 - a adolescent clone of FF villain The Wizard, and children from both the Moloids' Underground City and an older Atlantean City.
Not surprised by this news, but this should make everybody happy: the people who want to see the Fantastic Four on their own, those who want to see Future Foundation, and Marvel's
accountants.
