Deadline and Cinema Blend (among others) are reporting that Ayelet Zurer has replaced Julia Ormond as Lora in Zack Synder's Superman reboot Man of Steel. No reason is known right now. Deadline has confirmed that scenes involving Superman's mom are to be filmed this week. Zurer was in films Vantage Point and in Angels & Demons. Man of Steel is scheduled for a June 13, 2013 release.
