TV Show "Fringe" Gets a Digital Comic
DC's the Source announce a new digital comic based on the TV show Fringe written by series star Joshua Jackson with art by Drew Johnson. The series will alternate every two weeks between two storylines: one tied directly to the show canon, while the second one is a "what-if" (although this is DC, shouldn't it be "Elseworld"?) approach. Jackson wrote the first arc that is based in the canon storyline that takes place during the time between last season and the upcoming season.
The issues will be released every two weeks at $.99 per download. The first issue of Beyond the Fringe is available already at read.dccomics.com. The new season of Fringe begins Friday, September 23 at 9pm ET/PT on Fox.
