If you weren't able to watch the webcast last night, here's the announcement we made...
You may have noticed changes over the last few weeks
regarding the content of the news I have been posting. Some news items were
from companies and titles you may not be familiar. What started out as a lark
has grown into something, much, much more.
Over the past month, The Fellowship of the Geeks has been
gaining access to several comic book companies in an attempt to turn the
website into a true news source. However, I want to do something more. Yes, we will cover the big guys, but I also
want to make everybody (including myself)
aware of some of the smaller companies who have just as interesting
characters and stories and are put together by great talent as well. I also
hope to get access to the creators for interviews not only for our website but
for our shows as well.
Don’t worry about the fanclub side of The Fellowship, it
will still be there. COMIC CRAZINESS will be back in March (in time for the
other madness) and our HALL OF FAME will be back next September. We may try
other things as well (what I don’t know, stay tuned).
So, needless to say our focus will be comics. I may still
cover Sci-Fi things a little, but I am leaving that up to our brother-in-arms,
SciFiFx. If you are not following them on Facebook, you should. Their podcasts
are fun and interesting as well. As to the horror news, well …we're working on
that. J
Things are changing, but I seem to say that every couple
of months. I do want to take time to say thank you for your support. Whether
it’s following the website, our Facebook
or Twitter pages, or our broadcasts (expect an announcement on that soon…see
what I mean?) we do appreciate your support and it is not taken for granted.
There is one thing I would like from you outside your
continued support. Les and I would really love to get feedback from you guys.

We don’t get a lot of feedback so we aren’t sure how well
we’re doing outside of web hits and show views. So please email us!
