Image Comics has announced that they have formed a partnership with Graphicly, a social networking and digital distribution platform for the visual entertainment industry. With this partnership Image will be same day digitally as print. This will also allow Image to expand to all iOS and Android platforms. Graphically is also the only comic book app on Facebook, which also increases Image's potential to reach new readers. With this, Image's Facebook page will become a comic store where you can browse and buy right there. People can also "like" and share the comic on their wall.
“For years, print comics have been dependent on a single distribution network, so it's interesting to be a position to utilize a variety of different digital platforms,” said Image Comics Publisher Eric Stephenson. “As digital comics continue to become a greater concern, it's important to embrace as many different options as possible.”
