IDW and Cryptozoic have joined forces to create a new card game based on the popular comic LOCKE & KEY. The game will be released sometime next year.
“Locke & Key is one of IDW’s most highly acclaimed series and it’s a great opportunity for us to be able to extend the Locke & Key universe in to gaming through this collaboration with Cryptozoic,” said Ted Adams, IDW Chief Executive Officer and Publisher.
“We’re very excited to be able to team up with IDW, Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez on Locke & Key: The Game. With the growing popularity of the Locke & Key comic series, we felt it would a great franchise around which to build a fun and compelling card game,” said Cory Jones, President and Chief Creative Officer at Cryptozoic Entertainment.
The game is designed for 3-6 players and includes 150 strength cards, 19 challenge cards, 15 key cards, one 3D stand-up initiative marker and a comprehensive rulebook. For more information, please check out Cryptozoic's website.
