Recent rumors have been confirmed by AMC theaters that there will be a six minute prologue to THE DARK KNIGHT RISES attached to the MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: THE GHOST PROTOCOL. However, it's limited to the 70mm IMAX theaters. MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: THE GHOST PROTOCOL will debut on IMAX screens December 15 and a wide release December 21. THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, the last of the Christopher Nolan Batman movies, will be released July 20, 2012.
