Fellowship Previews: AMAZING FANTASY #15 Found

From the "I wish I had this kind of luck department," an Illinois man found a copy of AMAZING FANTASY #15 in the attic according to Digital Spy. The comic, which is reported to have "superficial damage" is valued at $12,000. A near-mint condition copy of the book, which featured the first appearance of Spider-Man, went for $1.1 million earlier this year.

"Very few comics are in this league," said Carmelo Chimera, owner of Chimera's Comics who evaluated the comic. "The reason why they're so collectable is that people bought them when they were kids and not very many have survived."
