Hayley Atwell Welcomes "The Return of Captain Nemo"

Apparently Hayley Atwell has a thing for captains. The actress, last seen in CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER, has signed on to play Sara in THE RETURN OF CAPTAIN NEMO according to Deadline. David Morrissey (THE REAPING, THE OTHER BOLEYN GIRL) will play her uncle who is a chief adviser to President Grant and Hugh Bonnville (NOTTING HILL, DOWNTOWN ABBEY) will play Captain Nemo.


Morrissey's character breaks Nemo out of prison to deal with "sea monsters" that are sinking ships up and down the Atlantic coast.  The film will be entirely green screen, just like the movies 300 and SIN CITY. Filming is expected to start mid-January 2012.
