Rumor: Singer's BATTLESTAR GALACTICA to be Classic Version?

Latino Review is reporting that Bryan Singer's BATTLESTAR GALACTICA project could be based off the 1970's movie/mini-series/TV show. He also reports that there is no script, or producer (other than BSG creator Glen Larson), but there is concept art and designs.

The report also says that Singer is directing a movie version of THE SIX MILLION (apparently ballooned to BILLION) DOLLAR MAN. Leonardo DiCaprio is being perused to play the title role. Not sure how reliable this site's information is, so take it with that proverbial grain of salt.

Personal note: I'm a big fan of the classic version, so I'm digging this. I enjoyed the Ronald D. Moore version at the beginning, but loss interest quickly. Now the questions are:

Is this another reboot or a continuation of the original show?
If it's a continuation of the original show, do you get new actors, or bring back the original cast (minus the late Lorne (Commander Adama) Greene and late John (Baltar) Colicos)?
