Jay Scherick and David Ronn, the writers of THE SMURFS movie have been asked by Sony Pictures Animation to do an adaptation of the POPEYE comic, Deadline reports. The animated film would be 3D Stereoscopic.
Scherick and Ronn are working a sequel to THE SMURFS and have completed an original script for BAYWATCH.
