The Hollywood Reporter, Syfy has asked Andrew Kreisberg (FRINGE) to pen a script based off the DC comic character Booster Gold. Kreisberg will executive produce with Greg Berlanti (Brothers & Sisters, No Ordinary Family). Created by Dan Jurgens, the character is a glory-seeking showboat from the future, using knowledge of historical events and futuristic technology to stage high-publicity heroics.
Booster Gold made an appearance in the final season of SMALLVILLE, which also featured the Jaime Reyes version of Blue Beetle. This follows CW working on a
SPECTRE and
DEADMAN TV series. Still no word on the purposed RAVEN series that was discussed last year.
