Peter Weller Boards The Starship Enterprise

Peter Weller has signed on to be in the next STAR TREK movie Variety reports. It is unclear on what role he is playing. Weller is best known for playing the lead roles in the first two ROBOCOP films and THE ADVENTURES OF BUCKAROO BANZAI ACROSS THE 8TH DIMENSION. He also played John Frederick Paxton in two episodes of STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE.

The film goes into production next month with a May 17, 2013 release.
