According to the
Hollywood Reporter, Marcus Nispel has signed on to bring the adventures of Cassie Hack and her partner Vlad to the big screen. Nispel is no stranger to the horror film, having directed the reboots to THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE and FRIDAY THE 13TH. His most recent film was last summer's CONAN reboot.
HACK/SLASH revolves around Cassie Hack, a serial killer survivor who decides to hunt down the killers themselves. She is joined by Vlad, her disfigured hulking protector. The comic was created by Tim Seeley and originally published by Devil's Due Publishing (now at Image Comics).
