Deadline is reporting that another DC character is getting a pilot. GREEN LANTERN co-writers Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim and FRINGE and VAMPIRE DIARIES alum Andrew Kreisberg are writing and will executive produce ARROW, an hourlong drama based on GREEN ARROW. The report says that it have him "in a new world with an original story that is not based on the comics." They also say that David Nutter (X-FILES, ENTOURAGE) might direct the pilot. He's no stranger to the genre, having directed the SMALLVILLE pilot and several episodes of THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERBOY.
This is the latest in a line of DC properties that could show up on the small screen. DEADMAN and THE SPECTRE are also in the works for the network, and Syfy announced recently that a pilot for BOOSTER GOLD is in development. Apparently the RAVEN project that was mentioned back sometime last year is dead in the water since there has been no updates.
