When moviegoers hit the theaters the weekend of May 4 to see THE AVENGERS, they will get a bonus - a new trailer for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. Several websites including
Entertainment Weekly have reporting that this indeed is the case. THE DARK KNIGHT RISES is the final installment involving Christopher Nolan as director and Christian Bale playing Batman.
While comic book fans may find the move ... intriguing since the properties belong to competing publishers, it makes sense. The people will go see THE AVENGERS is more than likely to see THE DARK KNIGHT RISES...that is unless you are a die-hard fan of one or the other publisher.
