Carrie Fisher Bio-comic Addresses Her Struggles For A Good Cause

Carrie Fisher's life and career is the focus of Bluewater's latest bio-comic FEMALE FORCE: CARRIE FISHER. The book, written by CW Cooke with art by Ryan Paule and cover by Joe Phillips also covers problem that millions of Americans (including Ms. Fisher) suffer from: bipolar disorder.

Ms. Fisher is having Bluewater donate a percentage of the proceeds from her bio-comic to the Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, Connecticut. Silver Hill is renowned for its excellence in its treatment of psychiatric disorders. Bluewater will also be running exclusive information about the disorder in the book.

"I am a huge fan of Carrie’s and I, too, suffer from bipolar disorder. She has inspired me in so many ways. Her candid wit and brutal honesty is what is needed to help lift the stigma off of the disease," said Jason Schultz, Vice President of Bluewater Productions.
