Take this with a grain of salt, but
ComicBook Movie is reporting that "a good portion" of the upcoming MAN OF STEEL movie will take place on Krypton. We might hear a little more in a couple of weeks when members of the cast and crew will make an appearance at the San Diego Comic Con. We should also get a trailer for the movie.
MAN OF STEEL is scheduled for a June 14, 2013 release and stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe, and Laurence Fishburne. The film is directed by Zack Snyder, produced by Christopher Nolan who co-wrote the story with David Goyer.
