Studio 407 proudly announces the addition of Jessi Reid
as PR and Marketing Manager. Reid brings her considerable experience to the
innovative comic publisher as they ready to launch new releases in the coming
months.
“Jessi has a great understanding of the comic industry
and knows exactly what it’s going to take Studio 407 to the next step in our
evolution. She has a lot of innovative
ideas that I think will energize the Studio 407 team and our fans.”
Reid is no stranger to the Comics Industry, getting her
start in 2009 as the right-hand woman for Danielle Corsetto, of Girls With
Slingshots fame. Most recently a Top Cow alumni, she joined the production
company in 2011 as the Social Media Intern and quickly grew within the company,
taking over Marketing duties from former Publisher, Filip Sablik.
As Marketing Manager, Reid’s primary responsibility will
be to oversee Studio 407’s marketing strategy.
“Working in the comic book industry has always been a
dream of mine, and to be brought aboard by an indie publisher with a growing
fanbase from all different walks of life is exciting!” Reid said. “I’m thrilled
by this opportunity and look forward to helping increase Studio 407’s presence
in the direct market, bookstores and beyond!”
