Billing his Kickstarter campaign as the, ‘Fastest Ever,’
Paul Littell wants to complete the production and print run for his 110-page
graphic novel, GET CARLY. If his stretch goals are reached, he’ll also give GET
CARLY another life as a unique motion comic.
GET CARLY is a realist action-thriller about a shy techie
named Marco. Marco has to beat an Albanian smuggling clan through
battle-scarred streets of Kosovo to save a beautiful woman. But he has only his
own 7- foot-long racer to drive – a laydown racer* that’s dangerous on the
track, but suicidal on the road.
“When a regular guy leaves the superhero games behind and
encounters some real-life monsters, can he step up and become a real-life
hero?” Littell asks, “We still need to believe that the good
guys stand a chance to win – in real
life. That’s why I wrote GET CARLY.”
Kickstarter Backers can receive awards ranging from the
book itself, in print or digital form, to special character profiles and
sketches, color prints, slipcase editions, ring tones and a Carly peace belt.
They can even be drawn into a group portrait with the cast!
Despite the incursion by Hurricane Sandy, the GET CARLY
Kickstarter campaign has already garnered lots of backers toward its initial
$10,000 goal. But there’s still a long way to go. Please check out the GET CARLY Kickstarter page at

*Laydown racers are for real. They’re 7 feet long and run at 130 mph, as close to the
ground as your sneakers. They compete around the world. Formula One champs use
them for practice.
