Speculation had been fierce since Singer announced the return of Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan were returning to the franchise. The actor had confirmed that the discussions were ongoing for him to reprise his role as Logan/Wolverine. Jackman recently completed filming THE WOLVERINE which hits theaters next year.
X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST is scheduled for a July 18, 2014 release.
