From the outside, Towne appears to be just a normal
suburban village, however, that is simply a veneer. In Towne there are two
factions, a group of scientists working behind the scenes and another that
appear to be the guinea pigs for their experiments. What is their ultimate goal and who's behind
it all? Welcome to the neighborhood, we

Complex is a hybrid sci-fi / mystery series set in a post-apocalyptic, dystopian suburbia. It is a story about a group of characters trapped in a manufactured community called Towne. From the outside Towne appears to be just a normal suburban village, however with each successive issue we learn that this is simply a veneer. In Towne there are two factions, one a group of scientists working on a secret project that could prevent the extinction of mankind and another that appear to be the guinea pigs for their experiments. Those being experimented on are kept docile and controllable through the use of memory implants and psychotropic drugs. Wives are assigned to "husbands" to watch over and indoctrinate, ultimately to attempt to extract and use them for their ultimate goal.
