Zenescope Entertainment has announced its plans for New
York Comic Con 2013 at the Javits Center in New York City from October 10th
through the 13th. The company will be
appearing at booth #1565 promoting its newest comic books series such as OZ,
HIT LIST and NO TOMORROW as well as staple titles such as WONDERLAND and ROBYN
HOOD while also continuing the countdown to the landmark 100th issue of the
company’s flagship hit title, GRIMM FAIRY TALES.
Zenescope will also debut several limited edition
convention exclusive covers with artwork by Mike DeBalfo, Anthony Spay, Jamie
Tyndall, Elias Chatzoudis, Mike Krome and Tyler Kirkham. Aside from Zenescope
exclusives and merchandise, free creator signings and comic book giveaways will
be part of the company’s plans all weekend long.
Appearing and signing at booth #1565 will be
writers/creators Joe Brusha, Ralph Tedesco, Raven Gregory, and Pat Shand as
well as artists Elias Chatzoudis, Jamie Tyndall, Anthony Spay, Paolo Pantalena,
Jimbo Salgado, Tyler Kirkham and many others. Most signings will include free giveaways so check

Zenescope’s will also be holding the Grimm Fairy Tales
Animated panel on Thursday October 10th at 7:30pm in panel room 1A14. The panel
will feature Grimm Fairy Tales creators and pilot producers, Joe Brusha and
Ralph Tedesco as they screen the Grimm Fairy Tales Animated pilot episode
directed by Jon Schnepp with bonus behind the scenes footage of actors Lena
Headey, Robert Forster, Chris Hardwick and Brianna Evigan.
Fans local to New York City will be able to get in on the
fun even if they are not at the convention. Zenescope will be having a
“Wonderland Night” at St. Marks Comics in the village on Saturday night October
12th from 8pm – 10pm. Writers Raven Gregory and Pat Shand will be on hand to
chat with fans about the Wonderland series, as well as sign copies of the
series available for purchase at the store. There will be free comics given
away to those who attend the signing.
Lastly, Zenescope will be holding portfolio reviews
Friday and Saturday from Noon – 2:00pm at the booth 1565. Please bring samples
of your work to show and to drop off.
