Kaijudo is rapidly growing and the Organized Play program is reaching new heights with two new play formats for even more ways to get in on the fun! Two New Formats Come to Kaijudo Organized Play!
Beginning with the Quest for the Gauntlet set on May 30th, Kaijudo will offer two new play formats: Standard constructed play and Booster Draft.
Here’s what you have to look forward to!
· Standard Constructed Play: The new Standard Format will include all cards in the current block year, as well as the previous block year. This new offering will keep the game fresh for players and, with the addition of Standard, get ready for newer cards being used in powerful combinations and never-before-seen decks entering the field. The Open Format, which includes every card printed to date, will still continue alongside Standard. The possibilities are endless!
· Booster Draft: Booster Draft is a popular way to play trading card games as it establishes a level playing ground for new players while at the same time offering new challenges for more experienced players. Now duelists can master their deck building, sharpen their strategy skills, and look forward to new tests! To ensure the ultimate drafting experience, the Kaijudo booster pack size will increase from 9 playable cards to 14 playable cards, at no additional cost.
· Organized Play: Thanks to these new Kaijudo offerings, duelists can expect even more exciting game-play during OP events. Set Premieres are the best ways to dive into a new set and Duel Days are weekly events that will help players continue to master their skills. Don’t forget about Kaijudo’s Booster Brawl releasing on February 21st, The 5 Mystics on March 14th, and the Spring Kaijudo Master Challenge season, which will run through May 4th.
