Infected By Art and Hermes Press Announce IBA's Compilation Art Book Vol 2

Hermes Press and Infected By Art (IBA) are proud to announce their partnership to print IBA’s Compilation Art Book Volume 2, an art project where professional and emerging artists from all over the world submit their fantastic art to IBA in a contest to determine which pieces are included in the final book.

This ground-breaking collectors edition will feature over 300 pieces of art from the worlds best Fantasy, Science Fiction, and Horror artist in a range of various mediums. Each page will feature the name of the artist, the title of the art, the medium in which it was created, and the artist’s website, and will be faithfully reproduced in the form it was submitted to IBA.

From fantastic scenes of science fiction to the worlds of fantasy and horror, this book has it all, and will appeal to anyone who appreciates the fantastic arts. Artwork included in IBA ranges from traditionally drawn or painted pieces, to artwork done digitally, as well as sculpture. Each piece of art was hand picked by a select group of judges, including Chris Achilleos (Heavy Metal, Willow), Rowena Morrill (The Fantastic Art of Rowena, Tomorrow and Beyond), Larry Elmore (Runes of Autumn, Sovereign Stone), and Enric Torres-Prat (“Vampirella,” “Tarzan”). With over 70 years of combined experience, each of these artists are uniquely qualified to decide what is the best of the best in all of the submissions to IBA. In the fantastic art genre they left no stone unturned in their quest to find the creme of the crop.
