Concept art for Mr. Peabody, the last of the "All-Ages" books, Marvel's "Birth of a Vampire"

Here is the concept art for the forthcoming Peabody and Sherman movie. As reported before Robert Downey Jr. is to voice the time-traveling dog. Dreamworks has confirmed that the movie is all animated, not a mix with live action like Rocky and Bullwinkle. Yay!

What was to be an ongoing series is now a huge one-shot. In April, Captain America: The Fighting Avenger will be release and will be one of the last "All Ages" books that Marvel will publish. The company states that the books "aren't profitable." This is sad. I understand that they are in the business of making money, but cutting out books that could the next generation of readers involved I think is a big mistake. I don't hear DC saying the same thing regarding their "Johnny DC" books. Food for thought.

Marvel released a teaser image for "Throne of Blood: Birth of a Vampire." The image came with the following:

Out Of The Shadows, Into The Marvel Universe

He will leave the Marvel Universe a different place.
His story begins here.
Thought you knew everything about Vampires?
Don’t be so sure.
