Morningside Entertainment is working on a movie adaptation of "Sinbad: Rogue of Mars" comic from Bluewater Comics. Executive producer Barry Schneer, who says
Rogue of Mars is the first in a planned trilogy, is the nephew of the late Charles H. Schneer, who produced the Harryhausen films. In a press release, the younger Schneer says he's bringing "to the screen the Sinbad movie that [Charles] and Ray Harryhausen never got to make."
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Marvel Studios has hired Mark Bailey to write a script on the Wakandan King/Protector/Hero/Avenger. Bailey has been a writer and story editor on documentaries such as
Pandemic: Facing AIDS and
Ghost of Abu Ghraib for HBO.
