Fletch Lives - Again?; One name out, another in for Lois Lane; Joseph Gordon Levitt in Dark Knight Rises?; Captain America movie tie-in to be release on Super Bowl Sunday; more on the Wonder Woman TV show

Warner Brothers have picked up the rights to the Gregory McDonald novels with hopes of rebooting the franchise. The last I heard of anything was four or five years ago with rumblings that Kevin Smith writing and directing a restart and that Jason Lee would star. I loved the original movies starring Chevy Chase. Those were probably his best movies. My only problem with them (and it's a minor one) is that it seemed to copy the style of Beverly Hills Cop which starred another former SNL member Eddie Murphy. Stay tuned...

Apparently Kristen Stewart has taken her name out of the Lois Lane sweepstakes. Good. I don't want the stink of Twilight anywhere near this movie. Apparently, another name had been left off the list of possible candidates...Olivia Wilde. I still haven't seen Tron:Legacy, but I would put her at the top of the list. What o you guys think?

Rumblings have started up again that Joesph Gordon Levitt may be involved in The Dark Knight Rises. Awhile back the internet was abuzzed that he would be cast as the Riddler. I believe that Nolan is on the record that the Riddler is not involved in the movie, but that doesn't mean that Edward Nygma (or Nashton) isn't in the movie. We'll just have to see. Way too many rumors about additional villains for this movie. As you may recall, there were rumors a couple of days ago about Robin Williams as Professor Hugo Strange. Could Nolan, knowing this is his last Batman film, trying to go out all guns blazing? Stay tuned...same Bat-time, same Bat-channel.

Marvel will release a online comic that is a tie in to Captain America: The First Avenger on Super Bowl Sunday. It is an eight part storyline and the first issue is offered for free. The trailer for the movie will also be shown as one of the commercials during the Super Bowl. The comic is written by Fred Van Lente and drawn alternately by Luke Ross and Neil Edwards.

Comic book Movie has an article answering five out of ten questions regarding the Wonder Woman pilot. You can read it here. I want to know what draft of the script is it. Was it a script BEFORE David E. Kelly got involved?  I want to stay positive about this, and will. However...
