According to The Hollywood Reporter, the production's hiatus (which started before Christmas) has been extended to March 28th The change is now needed in order to accommodate screenwriter David Koepp who’s been brought in to fix some fundamental problems in the script. Producers made the bizarre decision to start production without a completed script in December to take advantage of the New York City tax credit breaks, which they were expecting to expire at the end of the year (they wound up getting extended for another five). The studio estimates they saved $35 million by starting in December, but this delay has to be costing them a ton.The premise is Agent Jay (Will Smith) goes back in time for some reason and encounters Tommy Lee Jones' character Agent Kay (played by Josh Brolin). This is all we know. MIB II came out in the summer of 2002. It's looking like this won't come out until 2012, and I'm afraid it will still look like it was rushed. MIB II left a bad taste in my mouth and I'm not sure I want to take a trip with these guys again. But that's just me. What do you think????
