Here's a couple of more things from yesterday...DC ANIMATED
JLA:Doom is the first movie out next year, followed by Superman vs. The Elite. That will be followed by...The Dark Knight Returns. Bruce Timm said the two-part movies will be "very faithful to the book." When asked, Voice Director Andrea Romano said she will consider using Kevin Conroy (Batman) and Mark Hamil (The Joker) again. For future animated movie? The Killing Joke "has been considered" and Kingdom Come has been rejected.
IDW ARTIST EDITIONS
IDW has already released an Artist Edition on Walt Simonson's THOR, but has announced editions for Wally Wood, John Romita's Spider-Man, Dave Stevens' THE ROCKETEER and Will Eisner's THE SPIRIT. The editions are scanned copies of the original artwork produced for the comics. They even include notations from writers and editors, mistakes such as smudges, and whiteouts. The books retail $100-$125.
