DC NOTES
Action Comics and Justice League take place in the past (not sure if that's for the entire series or just the first arc). No events or crossovers, just focusing on getting everything settled. Most of the Justice Society are "taking a rest."
Stephanie Brown will be part of Batman's world, Didio: "I was a huge Spoiler fan."
J. Michael Straczynski is working on a sequel to Superman: Earth One and The Parasite will be involved.
Dan Jurgens points out that another symbol of Batman not being officially sanctioned by the JLI as a member is the fact that he is the only one with truly a mask and a secret identity. The UN does not want masked vigilantes on the team and "definitely NO aliens."
Cliff Chiang commented that Wonder Woman now has retractable pants.
MARVEL NOTES
At the X-Men panel, an image popped up saying "DEAD February 2012" the word dead was in the font of Deadpool's logo.
Also at the X-Men panel, it was ponted out that Cyclops was not on the cover or of Uncanny X-Men #1 nor in the book at all. The answers are in the Schism event going on now. Hmmm…Marvel is due for another character death, aren't they?
The Spider-Man panel ended with this image, a return of the Scarlet Spider?

MISC COMIC NOTES
Expect a MacGuyver comic from Image next summer. Creator Lee David lotoff is involved…
Image also announced Hack/Slash Annual #3 will be Hatchet/Slash. The famous slasher slayers will go after Victor Crowley, the killer in the movie Hatchet.
MOVIE NOTES
Steven Spielberg expects to be filming Jurassic Park 4 in the next two or three years.
Ron Perlman and Guillermo del Toro agree that there should be closure, but were non-committal to doing Hellboy 3. Especially if the budget isn't right. The first two were done a little over half of what he wanted to have to make them.
Peter Jackson plans to return to the horror genre "in the future."
Dimension plans to develop the David Cronenberg classic Scanners as a TV show instead of a remake or sequel. The decision is based on the success of AMC's The Walking Dead.
Speaking of the Dead, the AMC show will return October 16th.
The trailer for "The Raven" was shown. It was described as "Saw by way of Sleepy Hollow." The film stars John Cusack as Edgar Allen Poe, who is accused for a series of murders that are exactly like the ones in his stories.
Expect a straight-to-DVD animated spin-off for the Underworld franchise. More movies may be coming. The new one - Underworld Awakening is scheduled for a January 20, 2012 release.
