It sounds like THOR may have have his man. Variety is reporting that Brian Kirk (Game of Thrones) is in talks to helm the God of Thunder's sequel. Production for the movie is slated to begin in January of next year for a July 26, 2013 release. The sequel is said not to take place on Earth, but focus on Asgard and the other realms that were mentioned in the first movie. Chris Hemsworth (THOR) is currently shooting The Avengers, but will be back along with the rest of the cast...well the Asgardian ones.
