Deadline is reporting that the STAR TREK sequel will a release date of May 17. The film (which has no title right now) will also be in 3D. The script is being written by director J.J. Abrams along with Damon Lindelof, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. Nothing confirmed, but there were
rumors about Benicio Del Toro playing the main bad guy.
Summer 2013 is turning out to be jam packed. Star Trek 3D will be out two weeks after IRON MAN 3, and a month before SUPERMAN: MAN OF STEEL. LONE RANGER is scheduled to come out May 31, RED 2 August 2, and THOR 2 will come out November15.
