20th Century Fox has released a teaser poster for the upcoming THE WOLVERINE film. Hugh Jackman reprises his role as Logan and is joined by Will Yun Lee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima, and Brian Tee. The story is based on the 1982 mini series by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller. James Mangold is directing the film from a screenplay written by Christopher McQuarrie and Mark Bomback.
Based on the celebrated comic book arc, THE WOLVERINE finds Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.
THE WOLVERINE is scheduled for a July 26, 2013 release.
