Deadline is reporting that Warner Brothers have given the thumbs up for a sequel to MAN OF STEEL. The words used were "fast track." Zack Snyder will return to direct from a script written by David Goyer. The report is unclear of what role (if any) Christopher Nolan will have. Several reports that came out late last week said the film has generated $100 million (domestic) in advance ticket sales. By comparison, IRON MAN 3 took in $175 million (also domestic) in its opening weekend.
MAN OF STEEL opens this Friday June 14.
